Yeh, but how can you know that if nobody tells you about it first? Sysops should always disclose stuff like that. People only get angry because they've put time in, if they play a game where the sysop is playing and they've known about it from the beginning then they've got no one to blame but themselves.


This is why I named the game "Cruncher's Private Game". If I knew how to put up flashing neon asci I would. :)

Just find TheDraw (free) or another ANSI editor and create an intro.ans screen for your server.

Thank you! I'm always confusing ANSI with ASCII. I think I need to learn the difference.

You forgot about CP437. Originally called "Extended ASCII" by IBM, but was never adopted as an official standard.

CP437 is the character set $128-255 that is used to draw lines and shaded boxes, etc...
