I know of one case where the player running ztm was moved to terra during the process. Messed him up.

I hate to delay Sing's entertainment, but I'd like to see the start date delayed........not long, mind you, but enough time to get the correct edits (after all, rev saw the need to change his own edits to improve them)

p.s. also, while it's probably a pain (what do I know?) to re-enter players, it also provides an opportunity to use individual passwords and avoid possible problems on that issue)

i'm cool with whatever. if you want i can write a fast zoc script to create all the players and passwords. take me 30 mins or so to get it together - then you can just bang the game and run my script in tedit using zoc.

bigD - hop on icq and we can work it out.

ok i wrote the script to add everyone to the closed game. you can download it here. i set up everyone with username and password. your password is your username. i added Kane to the game - and left Kavanaugh in as well just in case. also, i spelled Phoenix correctly.

EDIT: you run that script from the main tedit screen, not the users screen.

send me the random seed before you leave bigD - we can find another server if you are unavailable.

1. if necessary, change servers to whatever sysop agrees and is atk, the right edits are avail. from rev   

2 & 3 (changed from mass icq) to simplify the passwords problems, lets make it an open game till everyone is logged in using their own pw as any other game, then close it if we need to; that is, NO previously opened user accounts (same corps set up).

4. no pre-game ztm (due to time restraints)    

5. game bang same time tomorrow nite (9 pm est) if we can't get it done by 9 pm tonite    

6. icq your comments to me or post here.

We will likely lose at least 2 ppl because of vacation plans coming up, if we delay more than a day. That would mean a serious derailment of this game since there are no alternates. I hope that whatever we go with as a result of this last minute problem, everyone will go w/ the majority.

I could host it if you want to get a sub for me. Of course my Corp could win without me anyway.  I am not in favor of bang tomorrow night but that just me as i couldn't make bang   But what ever is agreed upon Two memebers of each corp should agree to what is going to happen or Just run it as is and let what happens happen.

I think most ppl are prepared for a game start for tonite. Certainly I am, and some ppl made arrangements especially to be available tonite.

Another Idea is TraderVic has a new fast server up and running lets move it there and break it in.
 

   Well i think its a good idea to run the game as planned at the time planned..As to host/ server i dont have issues with anyone in this game hosting AND playing all of the players seem to be of fine Caliber.....So if Big D cant host ..........let RR or REV or Vulcan play and host all of the above are honorable..   Bottom line Lets get this game going!!!

I totally agree with moving the server to a trusted site, even if they sysop is playing. We all have the interested of this game at heart and I don't think anyone would want to mess it up by cheating.

I think we should start the game tonight as planned. Pushing this back further will jeopardize the team structure that we have because 2 people have vacation plans that may interfere with game play later on.

To me it don't matter what server it is on, as long as we get our act together and have it either tonite or tomorrow, or whenever the mass votes on. Just my .02 on it.
