Actually Maggie is a lady and most likely feels the way I do. Two men together really isn't something I would want to see or be around, and you and your buddy together can keep that part of your life very private - no need for an exhibition.

Back on topic though, playing against corpies makes you develop your game tactics instead of relying on your standard strategies/tactics. It is amazing how people can adapt their play to different situations.

As for Alex losing his game in a turn game, yeah it changes things, but I think he can adapt. I prefer unlims and the turn games will require me to adapt to the slower "turns = cash" playing style instead of "speed = cash" of the unlims.
