I will not be available till after noon on the 20th, but if someone is willing to live with that, and a player that hasn't got the skill as most of you, I'll jump in. It's time Proton starts learning to play, as well as host

By what I can tell, that means so far there is 19. That is just one trader shy of 5 corporations!

And just 5 traders shy of six.

Just so everyone knows up front and can make plans on how to handle the situation:

The randomizing script assigns the number of available corps based on the number of players divided by corp size. If we have 19 players and corp sizes of 4, that means that the script will determine 4 corps and the remaining 3 players will be unassigned. Those three players will be the last 3 that log into the game, even though they may have been the first ones to say that they would play.

The script can be modified to read a list of player names based on their post order saying they would play, however knowing the level of trust that these games seem to generate, I don't know if that would be acceptable. An option to this would be to have someone selected to run the script based on a Fed Com send of the names to that player.

I would be happy to create a .cts version of the randomizing script to send to every player to further insure that no one feels that the script was altered and anyone could be picked to run it.

This may be a bit anal for an approach, but I don't want to see issues develop before the game even gets underway. I don't have any problems with the CLV approach and if I happen to be one of those that are remaining, so be it.

Might not be a bad idea to have some left over, I mean I wont mind if im not picked either, and then the left overs could fill in for no shows and what have u.

I for one dont have problem trusting u or the Big D to run it. I see you two should be the only ones to run it.

I personally dont think this should be run, or claimed by anyone. It should be a community effort, with the sysop selected for each game being that games Op.

I would much rather see different people step up and help out, in each and every individual game, then have one person claim ownership to this curcuit.

The problem w/ the random corps generator has been handled and we expect no difficulties. I expect that the sysop of eash server will be able to do the same.

The general expectation is that this is a SERIES of games, with rotating servers and the sysop for each server being the games op, and different game edits each time. Lets not derail this by anticipating problems and get back to leaving this post for sign-ups only! You can always open a new thread for discussion, but lets get this one rolling first, PLEEASE!

Thank you.
