Wow Camaro, you play TW ok for a redneck <EG>. I like your page, but didn't see anything about Tradewars on it... just some crappy Chevy <G>. Get a FORD <G>. Actually I know less about cars than your pinky <G>, but what the hell <G>.

Whatever it takes to get a good game going Even if it's my head on the chopping block. It has been a long time since there has been a really good game going with the exception of the Tournaments. I think people are afraid of a little challange and have become lazy players. Many of you are playing on the same board over and over and most likely always win or are at least in the top 5. But think about it did you really have to work for it or did you just go through the motions to get there? When was the last time you really got pumped playing?? Went to bed worried about invasion?? Wondered if the other guy had more than you?? For most of you I would guess it has been awhile. I know it has been for me. I am not saying that I am this awesome player or that I am going to kick all of your butts... All I want is a really good game against good players so that I can become a better player. Without losing you will never become a better player and you will never learn. Must be the military in me that makes me continuously strive for excellence.

*chuckle* Alright, we'll see what happens in the playing field... it HAS been a while since I've played seriously, and haven't played an unlimited game that wasn't FAR too stupidly balanced in ages.
I'd like to extend a personal invitation to all of you here to play on my server - I just rebanged a game the other day and I have done some extensive alien/ship customization, all balanced out pretty well. It's at:
tradewars.variancenetworking.com port 2002.
It's a TWGS-Lite server at the moment, but if enough people play I'll upgrade it to a full version..
Game A is the new one - It's 2400 turns so it's got a somewhat "classic" feel, and I am hoping the gold mods I've done are balanced well... even went through the trouble of making ANSI and informational texts. Try it out and let me know what you think.

I was USN for 10 Years. My Father USAF 30 years. My Grandfather USA 30 years. Guess it is a family tradition. I am no longer in though but I gave my time and served my Country.
