 Today is a joyful day in my life and I wanted to take a moment to allow all of you to share in my pleasure. I once again join the ranks of millions around the world who have (drum roll) HIGH SPEED INTERNET.
After a long year of suffering in the sticks of NY without any high speed avalable to me, as of 10 minutes ago, I now have DSL. While not the FASTEST connection around, I still am getting good speeds, as well as good pings on the few servers I have tried already. It's happy dance time. |

heh...I felt like I was in jail. I got a great bit if irony here....get DSL, get all happy...day 2, 7:30 pm, half hour to game time...."this page can not be displayed" HUH? ok....www.google.com...."ths page cannot be displayed"....WHAT THE HECK? I get my botty of the couch, go over to the computer room, take a look at the modem, and A HA......the internet light is not on. No prob, unplug, plug back in..NOTHING. Ok fine, call tech support, get a message "the following areas are experiening outages..blah...blah...coke's area...blah ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I felt as dissapointed as Grazhoppas date the first time he tried to pop her cherry.
Oh well, sometimes you just gotta roll with it. |
