You remove the login security of mombot then you just need to be on the same SS and you can control all the players you want whether on your team or not. I had a version I modded for testing a few years ago, but it has never been updated for V2. Is there no end to the cheating?

Micro wrote: You could also use a password for non-corp members. I don't know if that feature is implemented in Mombot though. I thought the password for Mombot was to prevent anyone except the ones you grant access to, to bot your turns. Same SS of course, but now Toyman says there's a way to disable the login feature. You know.. send corp memo for everyone to login to gain access to their bots.

 Re: Big Game 2013
I'm speaking hypothetically, a bot could allow a non-corp member to log in with a password, while a password/login is not necessary for corp members.

I did a re-write for a few people that were having security issues authentication problem. Then we finally figured out there are a few names that MOMbot just didn't like and it resulted in the bot logging in correctly. I have no idea why you would assume cheating right off the bat? I know this is hard for some to understand, not everyone uses bugs or looks for loopholes to win.

If that's not cheating then at the minimum that's mega corping. Neither of which should be considered legal or customary in a game.

I would hope not There is a way if you have the version of MOMbot that had security removed. I just explained that was never the intent of why it was done. It was a result of finding another problem and that's why it was never updated after we found the security issue. Oh I know someone that used mega corping on Ice9 and she didn't see any problem with it a few years back.

 Re: Big Game 2013
One of the last HHT's that SG made required you to do that actually.

We had to, mixed corp penalties were too harsh. I had a lot of old habits when I first returned, until I learned how easily experience and alignments are manipulated in TWGS. I remember freaking out when a CEO in my first game on Ice was about to be deleted for inactivity, I thought everything was going to go rogue. I ran around, made everything personal, made a new corp and ran around making everything corp again. You guys have it so easy now. We used to have to walk uphill barefoot in a blizzard 5 miles to school... both ways!
