Many of the current threads were started when the smack talk forum wasn't available.  So instead of locking them, they should be moved to the smack talk area now that it exists.  You can't blame poeple for borderline smack talk when the majority of the content in of some of these threads are undisputely smack talk to start with.

To be honest, the fine line between SMACK, and a semi heated chat, is a blur. most of what i post is not intended to be smack, but some intupet it as. just because someone uses colorful words to describe a situation, or a feeling about somthing, 80-90% of the time its conciderded Smack.

now if I say - Space Ghost's mom wears combat boots. that is pure smack.

but if I say Space Ghost in my IMHO is unable to be a Admin let alone a Mod.
to me thats not smack, but critiscisum and heart felt feeling. (just an example SG)

Which is why the combat boots comment is laughed at, because there's no sentiment. But the latter certainly carries some, and is likely to get the most dramatic response.
