Hehe, I already have an EVE account, love the graphics of the game, and have played for a while, well except the past two or three months. Took a break.

You didnt' mention that in order to use the trial you have to download a 556MB file to start. Thank goodness for high speed internet!

Yeah, I tried the 14 day trial, and all together Eve is a pretty good game. If it had any singleplayer mode, I might have played it more, but I just couldn't get passed the 3rd person view restriction.

Having spent all of my space-sim life playing games like Frontier (FFE), Terminus, BCM (UC), IWAR2: EOC, X-BTF & X2, and even Freelancer, not having a 1st person kockpit view for combat was counter-intuitive and just plain annoying.

Yeah, you have to subvert the censure check by misspelling the word. That's why I use "kockpit" instead.

You get a single player mode when you have an active regular account, I play single player all the time. Kinda am a mercernary, go where the money is.
