The following is a deliberate copy on my part of a post that I made to Smacktalk, to this Forum. It was my intention to make a point. I will delightedly reply to those who post to the same subject in the smack area:

I've never played on UTW, hence have nothing bad to say about it. To those who have issues with it: Dont play there, vote with your feet.

They appear to have a large, loyal playerbase, similar in many ways to the BBS's in the 90's.

Will that server loyalty that the sysop has engendered harm Tradewars or help to preserve and advance the playerbase? In my opinion, the latter. UTW is good for the game.

From what little I know of the game setting/server rules (all third hand information) I'm not interested in playing there but that's analogous to some people like black coffee, some like it with sugar, cream, etc. Some players like unlimited games, I consider such games absurd, CPU v CPU, but hey, horses for courses.

Whatever floats your boat is good.

You dont like UTW, dont play there. Play somewhere else, or spend your money providing free games to your liking to the rest of us, which is what UTW is doing.
