Hey and just like everyone else I am man enough to say I have over reacted. I took it more of a personal attack because our scrubiles were being questioned. Vex I do not contend to be an all experienced player as I play for the fun of it so in one on one you would probably destroy me. As a co-sysop I enjoy setting myself up to be either captured or destroyed to help other players gain experience or rank. I am better at playing the support type. I can trade and colo with the best of them. I can create macros to capture planets or sectors, but I am lacking the skills to be a true hunter type. So after venting and reading some words from other players with more experience, I will apologize for flying off the handle, jumping to conclusions, or what ever you want to call it. I hope to see you around but I do not play anywhere else but at the Outpost. I just don't have the time. I am sure when I say this that from both of us (Thrawn and Myself(ScanMan/Zaarin)that at the Outpost we welcome all players. We try to have a nice place play.

Well... this is a lesson that must've been learned. No one can really comprehend the implications of playing in ones own board. However, I would like to say that no one was really prepared to combat this, and I mean no one. Sure if a player feels he needs to raise hell, ur d*mn right they will. And of course the board in question would defend itself, but as a result, can you all finally see? The issue of SysOp playing on their own board is an issue that will stick with Trade Wars 2002 for the rest of its existance. Niether side has a right to accuse the other. I know that now, it took awhile for me to figure out but here it is.

Have you ever heard of "Swim at your own risk?" Well at boards where the Ops play in the game, "Play at your own risk" and if you come to suspect t-edit, well.... GET OVER IT, its your fault for playing in a game that an Op plays and you have no control over their temptations. As far as the other side, many times Ops are accused of t-edit even though they arent, in fact sometimes they have been perfect little angels about it. This is a problem that can't be solved. It human nature for this to be this way. The best we can do is live with it. If they t-edit ya... its your fault for even playing there, so ya can't complain, if ya get accused, tell them the truth, if they still get upset, hey its your server... remove them or... placate them.

The choice is ours...

ok, I skiped half this thread, but
sys ops should not edit anything after the bang, except maybe a personal password after conferming u are who u say.
This also aplys to message boards, let them say what they want to say if the post DID NOT BREAK any forum rules...U LET IT STAND... u delete it makes u look bad. Sorta like they might'va been right.
But as was said b4 it is ur Server and Forum, u can do what u want....
ummm btw... what server was this, I might pop in with a corp of killers just to screw em all up.
and yes, u don't like the way a server is handled, or whatever, u leave it, I know of alot of good servers, and some even cater to the noobs....
In overall I agree with Game/sys op as far as not bending the rules, but I agree with the other party on the posts in forum thing.... and with all it could've been handled different and DROPPED, this horse is dead, quit beating him.

oh this is not even CLOSE to the energizer bunny thread. I won't mention the thread cause it's died out for the moment until some dum dum (in a nice way of course) goes and bumps back so everyone can see it, but this will NEVER be close that that.
