Well,
My suggestion is use a known edit set, that has been popular in draft. Big Game, TCW, Genocide turned out well.
I would give the following suggestions:
- Use a weak Tholian, see KI edits, or others were the tholian is useful, but not game changing.
- MBBS or you will lose many players who don't want to SDT/SST for 4-8 weeks
- Death Limit
- No Move delay
Things I would like to see
- A red twarp useful ship. Even if it is a battleship.
- no more than 1k turns
- MBBS
- No super producing planets

what is better for the tholian? One that can hold a lot of figs, but not be able to land, or a weak one that has to land a lot to refill with the stock 4:1 def odds over a planet?
I agree totally with at least under 1k turns and MBBS.
If we are talking about the draft game, I'd like to see 750 turns if you're going to have a big corp size.

The answer to what is a good tholian is all what the other ships are.
Example:
- Stock ISS is 1.5 odds, 10k wave
- If a tholian has 6:1 planet odds, than a 10k wave only does 2500 damage.
- If the tholian has 20k figs, 8 waves, nearly impossible to kill before reload. (nearly because it can be done, but REALLY difficult)

The only problem with TCW is that it is being used as a BYOC game next week. You don't want it to get over used.

I thought SupG was going to use KI edits for the game but was just calling it corp. wars. If that’s so I would go with TCW because its been a while since we have played thos edits and it has a twarp colt.
