Ok, things I have learned thus far.
1. Dont post on 2 year old post.
2. Dont play on Master Blasters servers.
3. I have to have a script to play the new TW's

Befor I make any other mistakes (other than spelling and grammer) I am looking for some Pro tips.

Read, read, read. You need to have a good understanding of the game. There is lots of information here on the forums, especially in the "Trade Wars 2002 School" and "Trade Wars 2002" forums. Here is some more reading...

Its great that you were reading the old posts to learn stuff but yeah people sometimes get disgrunteled when you bring them back to the top of the list by posting in them.

Scripts, the more you know about the game the better you will understand them. It is unwise to start blastin scripts and not even really know what they are doing. This doesn't mean you have to know the scripting languages but that would help too.

No one here said you have to do anything If you stick to the small servers you can get away with not having to play with scripts its all a matter of what level of play you like some like the faster paced play level of scripted play and some like playing by hand. If you want play on MB’s server go for it if you like people who use t-edit to mess with other players then lie about it when you come complaining we just say we told you so. Bring up 2 year old post if you really want to if it’s relevant to the help you’re looking for I see no problem with it.

Oops I’m not a pro though so it might not be the advice your looking for.

As the first player said read. Also listen to players some great players helped me out and I learned the ropes. Cables site is great for tatics. I learned A lot their. Next I would say planet building. It is very inportent in this game. And also try not to lash out and step on toes. Are you could be <<<<poded>>>>. Last respect the players and the game. Some day they could be on your corp. And above all have Fun. Its just A game. You get poded you always have the next day. Trash talk = death. Good luck dude!!!
