Excuse me? I think you need to take a step back and make sure you think very carefully before making future posts. Any sort of support you may have had is rapidly vanishing. Let me give you a pointer in regards to running a game that you don't yet seem to have found out. Insulting potential players when they ask for a rule clarification is a bad idea if you want to continue to have players. Furthermore, attempting to insult the moderator of a forum you continue to wish posting at is ALWAYS a bad idea.

Now, I will ask again. What do you consider a neutral fig? The game has the option to leave toll figs, defensive figs, or offensive figs. There is no "neutral figs" option. Do you mean that any fig left out in space (ie, not in a base) is fair game to be killed?

Ok then this is stupid. This is my last post, and the only thing i can say is if you dont know what the word neutral means you should go back to school. :) Goodbye.

P.S. you guys are the only ones acting like victims when im the one being victimized. thanks for nothing, good luck with geekdom

<scratches head> Neutral? Like Chaotic Neutral? Lawful Neutral?

Serioulsy, in the hopes that you do come back, please explain the contex in which you are using neutral. In any version of TW I've ever played in, there is no option to leave a 'neutral' fighter. Your only variables for leaving figs in a sector is the quanity, wether they are Corporate or Personal, and if they are Offensive, Defensive or Tolled. I'm not even sure what purpose a 'neutral' fig would serve.

(edited so Harley won't hit me with the ban stick)

"Last time I played with you, you kept leaving them all over the place :P"

heh :P the devil made me do it, i told you that :P

"Stop bashing buddy or i will alert moderators. I would suggest you jsut stay out of all my posts. Thank you"

alert the press, i asked a question to a guy who has no idea what he is talking about!

"Uhh.. Slim wanted me to ban his ip. I guess you ddint' get his little threat.. ooo im so scared"

banning my ip is a threat to you? ok...
i told you to ban my IP so i would not join your game and wreck it in a week by following your very own rules you have put forth.
my plan is this. unlim turns as WE all know means unlim cash, so i'd go in, cash like crazy then start popping 4 planets per sector and just putting 1 "non-neutral" fig there, so no one can enter that sector without submitting a request. but, i would never keep figs on me or my planets, so they could only attack me with 0 figs, also, i would keep my "ranking" drasticly different from anyone elses just to be safe. ok, now people cant ever enter a sector i put 4 planets in, give me a corpie and maybe 2 days and i will have 4 planets in every sector in the game and nothing anyone can do about it, by your own rules of course. hell, i think by your wording i can put 4 planets in fedspace and call it my base :)
anyway, so much for your game going for 4 years. i was trying to help you.

"if you dont know what the word neutral means you need to go back to school buddy"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. omg, i laughed SOOOO hard when i read that and then K3's response, hahaha. ah. vash, atleast you are good for a laugh :)

so in conclusion we scared away a guy from the game who REFUSED to even TRY to learn the game. OR he knew the game so well that K3 appearantly needs to go back to school... LOL
i really want this thread to keep going and i want JP to come and say something so vash can tell JP that he is wrong. heh.
see ya later vash! :)

This has been highly entertaining. We have a game op that doesn't understand some basic TW things, but WE'RE the dumb ones. People mouthing off to the moderators. Good good stuff.

I have to say one thing,Vash is entertaining, boy I never knew someone could get so offended over a little criticism, and to be honest to bash Harley was definitely not a good idea.

But honestly if he is expecting all the traffic. I have one question, why all the DSL lines? If he is expecting all this traffic, woulden't putting it on an online server be more feasible, not to mention less costly, I don't know why anyone other than me caught this.

Think how expensive multiple DSL lines are going to be, I am just hoping to get the traffic he is gearing up for, and even I am smart enough to put my gameserver on an online webserver.

I guess he was so busy rubbing people the wrong way, so they wouldn't notice this, LOL[:D]

Anyway, Slim, Draconis, Harley, and all others on this forum, I personally think this is the best forum there is and please don't a bad apple spoil it for all of us, I think all of you have done the best you could to be civilized to Vash and not loose it with him, I give my congrats to you all.

I guess he thinks there are thousands of TW players just itching for a 4 year long game. Boy, I know I am...

Guess so, but can you imagine the cost of all the DSL lines? and another question, which one is the server going to be bound to? The last that I looked, you can only bind it to one, IP. DSL's can get expensive for multiple setups, between 30 something dollars and 50 something dollars per DSL hookup. Where an online dedicated web server is about 69 dollars to 89 dollars depending on the type of server you want. I have my own ded server that I bought. and is ready to handle any traffic up to 500 gig of bandwidth. I figure that is plenty. Andd it only costs me 69 dollars a month.
