just wondering what would cause this.
I have been playing a game at major disaster and I found another corps sector. They have 3 planets 2 H l 3's and 1 L l4. photons are disabled and I mothed the sector cannons and when I try to land on any of the 3 I take the blast and then Im at the prompt to attack the planet figs, when I Hit (a) to attack I end up getting booted. this is very frustrating as I have enough figs to take out all 3 planets load up the colies ( I assume there are lots ) and warp the l4 out and end the game. what would cause this?

Neva seen that happen - have to ask big boys - might get somebody to join with yopu and try it to see if it is a glitch in your helper. That's my 2 scents and that's way inflated more than it's worth.

is it 3.13? if not i believe its just a past bug that has since been resolved. if it IS 3.13, its very pertinant that you can get the sysop to archive the game and send it and the error logs (and whatever else he wants) to JP.

at the select game screen its v1.03 and once you are in the game it says its ver 3.13

wow, weird. ya, definantly get the op to get that archive to JP. that shouldnt happen in 3.13. unless it was an alien planet in alien control, that shouldnt happen.

nope not alien planets.
I have tried rebooting and using different helpers but I just keep getting booted when I try to take out the planet figs.
Ill see if I can get ahold of the sysop so he can get the file to JP.

Have the sysop check the mail.dat file for the game. That is, check to see if it's large (over 1 meg) and even if it isn't, delete it. Additionally, a cap of what is happening on your end might be useful. I'm making the assumption that the boot isn't the "Your ship has been destroyed, maybe you'll have better luck tommorow" boot

no it takes me back to the main game menu where you select what game to play. ill post it later today as im off to work.

well I guess we will never know as the sysop took the game down.
