Sometimes I forget to log off the server when I go to bed, and a couple of times SWATH has kept me logged on all night, even though I was inactive. Could that be the problem?

TWX does have an auto-relog option which you probly have turned on. Even if you don't have the login script turned on it will still log back to the sign in prompt (Please enter your name (ENTER for none):) 3 seconds after you get disconnected. This is not a problem with the helper this is a design, if you go into the game setup and put in your login name, password and game letter, it will go all the way into the game when you get disconnected like that.
Aparently this guy is another TW newb trying to run a server.
Clarification:
Auto-Relog, open TWX setup and go to the Program Tab, its the check box next to Automatically reconnect.
Login Script, under the server tab, each game you create has a login script option.
Like I said you probly have the auto reconnect enabled and the login script disabled. Which would explain why he saw no game activity even though you were connected to the server.

Thanks PHX, the reconnect option in TWX Proxy is *off* and I don't use a login script. I was thinking perhaps when I go afk for extended periods of time and leave SWATH on, that might be causing the problem?

I think your TWXProxy is reconnecting
Open up the Menu for TwxProxy, Select the "Program" tab, and remove the tick from the checkbox next to "Automatically Reconnect"
