i was under the impression that a swath time-limited license wasn't something you could uninstall-reinstall since it was a username and password that only worked with the auth server for x days
Believe me, there is a way to completely uninstall SWATH. And Get Rid of all the information for the time limit. And then be able to reinstall SWATH and get another 30 day trial. Heck I can do it with out uninstalling SWATH at all. Don't ask, as I will not tell.
BTW the time 30 day limit is not controlled by the auth servers. As nothing is sent to the auth servers, until you register. At which point the servers just verify, to SWATH, that it is using a legit registration.
Now if Stein wanted to. He can fix it, so that even uninstalling SWATH completely will not work. I can think of 1 or 2 different ways of doing this.

Any software that cannot be 100% removed from a system should be illegal. Itd be not much better than spyware.
How many times have I installed some shareware/timelim app that I decided I absolutely hated and I KNOW that even after removing it there are still some bits and pieces laying around the hard drive somewhere whether it be files or registry entries. That **** pisses me off to no end.
