Thank you, guys. Finally something sensible comes out. Yeah, what Bush does econmically wise won't even appear until 4-10 years down the road. The Tom Clancy book was Executive Orders(good one). Well..I'm done..But..anywho. I bet Gore doesn't have an ISS!

Just for the record, Presidents have very little to do with the state of the economy or fiscal policy in general. Blaming Clinton or praising Reagan for the economy makes no sense. As far as Gore being a better President than Bush is now well... He would probably have done some things better and some things worse. It really didn't matter who was president after 9/11, the response would have been pretty much the same. Gore probably would have had a lot less of the arrogant gunslinger attitude that Bush promotes and wouldn't be looking to attack any country that blinks.

As Deinen was saying, the policies of a particular administration dont even appear as far as a nation wide response until minimum 4-6 years after the policies were made. Clinton took credit for the Regan and Bush Sr. years in office but look what happened the last 1-2 years he was in office...the economy was headed into the toilet before Bush Jr. was even elected. Now it will be headed back up and is starting to already and its been 3 years already. The only thing we can thank the Democrats for is another wonderful depression and less jobs for all.
