You dont clear it, but a port can only have one person on file for a bust at any time, so if theres 2 of you reds in your corp, one of you runs till he busts, then jumps out of the colts. Number 2 jumps in, takes a run and if he busts at the same port, Number 1 can run again with no worries.

If you are running solo then don't bother that port again until
bust clears run. Move on to next port and keep working. As someone else said it is better to run with another red to clear the ports where you busted. Least amount of ports within range is usually 3 and then you just keep trading off either SST or SDT and is best if you have a warp capable blue helping out. Having said that I am certain you will get much more info from others.
