Not really sure where to put this. However, I did a corp transaction today took some credits from a player while he was offline and cloaked. Is this a new to the game or am I just completely blinded for the past years?

It has always been as long as your in the same sector cloaked or not you can transfer cash no problem. Most of the time they cloak and don't tell you where they are hiding, so unless tagged (limpet) good luck... lol

Not always, only with TWGS. Comet is remembering the HVS MBBS game. We could never transfer assets when cloaked. Heck, unless they told us, or we saw them cloak out, to towed them to a sector cloaked, that was the only way you knew what sector they were cloaked in.

Now, I just go to SD type tc and if I have a cloaked corpie, I'll get a list of corpies who are in the sector whether they are cloaked or not.

Maybe so, but it's good to play it every now and again, now that we know it's still up and running.

Helps to give you some perspective on the mindset of the players who are just now returning and who have never played TWGS.

Actually I don't think HVS ran across my mind. However, I only played two games in HVS and neither one was with a corpie. So I wouldn't know that :) But thank you for the future reference. I just found it amazing LOL that you could do that. helps to know a little something more about the game I suppose :) Also, don't knock the amish. Up here in the sticks of Fort Wayne we have crap stables in super market parking lots for the horses :)

But to appreciate the new and improved you have to understand the history.

Someone who only know's how to play high graphic games thinks TWGS is the horse and buggie.

Everything is relative.

I'd love to see TWGS evolve to the realm of 3-D graphics, like those in the movie Avatar. That was such a great movie.

But yes, Comet. You need to study cabal more closely. And take some of the strategy suggested with a grain of salt. There may be some red herrings here.

I remember the model T Ford, not old enough to remember the model A though. Good to know that there are those who do, still alive and kicking ; )
