I saw in the log of a game I'm playing that a Ferrengi was blown up by a Q-cannon. First of all, I thought Ferrengi wouldn't enter a sector with a planet. Second, this happened on day 5 of a game with default citadel construction times, so no players should have Q-cannons. Either of these facts implies that the game has some wandering killer planet mod or something, right? |

Is this a game where you'd have access to the data and could send me an archive to have a look? Could be a bug where the Ferrengi's cannon is attacking its own or something. Could be something else. It's hard to say without looking. I assume this is Gold Ferrengi, not the classic ones. |

If so when an alien goes into the sector, which they will, the cannon will fire. Put your planet in the wrong sector and aliens will moth your cannons to nothing. |

This was day 5, so I'm pretty sure nobody has capped Ferrengal. I know where it is, and it was still surrounded with Ferrengi fighters on day 3 or 4. I don't want to decloak just to check the log, but I doubt I missed it being capped. There were also 15 million fighters in the game on day zero. I haven't gone in under a photon to look, but I assume they're on Ferrengal. Cruncher did say she beefed it up this rebang.

I'll send it as soon as I get home, leaving the office now. That Ferrengal is a Special Gold edited planet, with max fuel, figs and shields. |

Ok, Mongoose, I had a quick look at the data. Cruncher has both classic and Gold Ferrengi running, so what you saw was a Gold Ferrengi hitting the classic Ferrengi's Q-Cannon. |

Well, I'm glad he's dead. That particular Ferrengi kept hitting my fighters.
