i have never taken a shot at the stardock. I do not know how much effort it would take to destroy the dock. Could it be done with 2 attacks of 25k figs (4:1 offence odds) (one return fire from dock, between player attacks)??? I was always under the impression it would take a team effort to destroy the dock.... and 2 attacks of 25k figs seems way too small. Is there another way to accomplish dock destruction??? Perhaps a way less than honourable... ??? |

Dock is pretty easy to blow if you've never attacked it before. It goes up every time a class 0 is blown tho, up to a point where it levels off. Once it gets to that point, blowing dock is usually a team effort. I did the increase calculations a few years ago... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18298&p=159510 Basically when you fire at dock, you get first shot. If it blows, then you're good. If not, then it fires back at you. That can pod you. Each round goes like this, so depending on it's defense rating, your shields and figs, your offensive and defensive odds, you may or may not be able to take out dock. |

Easiest way with stock ships is get in an IC, also have a corpie in an IC. Attack, corpie tops you up, repeat etc. Corpie buys figs as needed, you must stay at attack prompt or SD will regen defenses. Coordinate using ICQ or whatever. |
