Corporations allow players to combine assets such as credits, fighters, planets, etc. Playing in a corporation can give you the chance to learn from more experienced players, as well as create a better chance for you to win a game or put up a better fight. Typically corporations consist of 4 to 6 players but have included over 20 players on each corporation as with the "Big Game" tournaments normally hosted at least once a year. Once you are in a game from the command prompt the "T" button will give you access to the "corporate menu". Just a few quick things when you join a corporation you should make all your personal assets corporate assets, they do not automatically change. If you have fighters deployed or planets created those items can create problems if your corp. mates find them while they are still personal. Corporate members cannot land on your personal planets without defeating your assets and your ships cannot be controlled by your corporate members without being made corporate! Just a few quick reminders if your align conflicts with that of the corporation you are trying to join you will not be able to join. For example if you are a "blue" or have positive align and you try to join a "red" or evil corporation you will not be able to join and vice versa. Be wary in some very rare cases you will allow a member to join your corporation and they will betray you, so as a rule of thumb know those who you are playing with!!
