What is the best way to colonize a planet is the a script or some helper program i am using swath right now but can't find a way to do it easily.
And how do you get you alignment up quick in order to get in to an iss.

Alignment... you get 500k cash, post it as a bounty on a red player and then apply for a commission at the fed police. Instant 1k alignment. That's not the only way, but it's the most common way early in the game if you're a solo player.

Swath works fine. TWX also has several good ones. I just macro it, lets me do more creative things w/ the fuel to save a turn here and there.

Don't forget to check out http://www.navhaz.com/  most notably the TW-Cabal Archives
And because i'm lazy, I wrote a little diddy that spits out Col macros for me..  I'll post it in the Scripting forum.. requires TWX, tho. Which you should get your hands on.

Why dont you use the inherent skript from Swath? It does the job on auto.
just go strg+O in the skripts Menue.

Ewarp colonizing is something you might want to avoid... it burns turns and is easy to kill.
