I have search through the forums to try to answer this question for myself but have been unsuccessfully I am looking for a feature that will automatically post the activity logs (Todays Log) automatically to a website (or at least just extract it, I can batch something up that posts it to a log file). I know you can obtain this information from a command within the game, but am looking for a way to post it to a website for an ongoing log (newest at the top) automatically If anybody has any suggestions please let me know Thanks for any assistance you can provide. |

I use that feature, and it took us some time to get it tuned and set for our site. I'm using ZOC and a game reporter script that reads the daily log and converts to HTML. Then it posts it to our site. You can view a sample here... http://www.outpost-4.com/tradewars/twgs ... today.html I am not familiar of any other way other than a script. I had to work with this script, and I have it running automated every so many hours to produce the HTML file. If you are familiar with scripts, and ZOC, let me know, and I'd be glad to provide further assistance. |

As an alternative there is the rolling headlines designed for php-nuke. You can check it out in action at: http://www.roguegalaxy.com (takes a few seconds before it starts rolling.) http://ibiscode.com/community/scripts/r ... dlines.php |

Looks good, but too bad it's only for PHP Nuke. So if you use PHP Nuke, this script seems good. If not, then we have to fall back to the scripts like Rev's game_reporter script. I guess it falls on what the SysOp finds easy for his config. Thanks for the link. I'll add that to my references for future usage. |

Vulcan and JoshT976; I'm going to e-mail you both at same time the script and instructions to use rather than two PM's. This way if you have issues, you can either e-mail me or hit me on chat. You asked where to start? The first thing is do you have ZOC? If not, you will need it. This script is a ZOC (REXX) script. If anyone else needs this, let me know and I'll send a copy to you too. |

Speaking of ZOC could somebody please upload the RevHelper onto Grimy's? It would be very nice to have that to be readily available along with the ZOC. |
