I have a friend who was playing in a game and his corpie blew dock. Then next day it came back. Is the regen time for dock configurable or was the sysop cheating?

I believe it has to do with the radiation clearing setting - sounds like in this case it was set to 1 day.

Stardock can also regenerate by an ambassador pushing PS on stardock or PT at a class 0 that's been blown.. to my knowledge an ambASS* can regen any port that's been blown.

Yes they can Graz, just by porting and docking, and poof it is back up.

Amen and blessings to gameops who set rad decay to 1 day else harden the class 0 and class 9 ports before opening games! Yes...blowing SD is a nice tactic in some players opinion but as long as I have been playing the game IMHO it belongs at the level of low life tactics and cheap tricks...thought about it a few times and also had corpies ask about it but so far have resisted the temptation. Watched it end a major tournie...the player who did it was 2 hours behind his schedule...game was about 3 1/2 hours old.

Class 0's/9's regen on the rad cycle. That is, if one is destroyed and rad lifetime is 5 days, it will regen on day 5, day 10, etc, regardless of when it is blown. So if it is blown on day 4, it will regen the next day even though it's 5 day lifetime.
