Think of it this way All Keys or Space Only.. When sending macro's then it's important.. Some scripts might need one or the other also.. Generally speaking you can abort more with less characters by using CN9, But the problem is that you'll abort EVERYTHING that's in the macro. If you wanted to say Colonize but display terra then you couldnt use CN9 & a macro.. you would need space and then use a space to halt the display for everything except a terra display. |

[3] < 8> HEATER Level 6 0% 119T 11% H Owned by: MURDER INC. [3] < 15> Trader Level 6 0% 179T 16% L Owned by: MURDER INC. [3] < 73> FUEL DEPOT Level 6 0% 508T 21% H Owned by: MURDER INC. [3] Land on which planet <Q to abort> ? to just: Command [TL=00:00:00]:[1827] (?=Help)? : L <Preparing ship to land on planet surface> Land on which planet <Q to abort> ? or All Systems Ready, shall we engage? Yes -=-=-=- TransWarp Drive Engaged! -=-=-=- Sector : 1827 in uncharted space. Ports : Aud, Class 6 (BSS) Planets : <<<< (M) Ferrengal >>>> (Shielded) <<<< (H) HEATER >>>> (Shielded) <<<< (L) Trader >>>> (Shielded) <<<< (H) FUEL DEPOT >>>> (Shielded) Ships : >*>*>cRoWn Of ThOrNs<*<*< [Owned by] MURDER INC. [3], w/ 100,000 ftrs, (AldenShrike Imperial Battleship) Fighters : 100,000 (belong to your Corp) [Defensive] Warps to Sector(s) : 1738 - 2064 - 2444 - 2925 Command [TL=00:00:00]:[1827] (?=Help)? : to just: [green]All Systems Ready, shall we engage? Yes -=-=-=- TransWarp Drive Engaged! -=-=-=- Changing this option to all keys means that display is aborted by any key that is pressed after the command. if you add spaces to your scripts and leave abort display to spaces then it can significantly increase the speed of your scripts |

An example: Setup a macro to bust 5 planets at star dock Here it is, assuming you are on a corp zoc uy.^Mclzdyuy.^Mclzdyuy.^Mclzdyuy.^Mclzdyuy.^Mclzdy twx uy.*clzdyuy.*clzdyuy.*clzdyuy.*clzdyuy.*clzdy jtwat uy.~clzdyuy.~clzdyuy.~clzdyuy.~clzdyuy.~clzdy 1st time run it normal 2nd time put two spaces after anything that makes a significant display, like 2 or more lines so it looks like this zoc uy .^Mcl zdy uy .^Mcl zdy uy .^Mcl zdy uy .^Mcl zdy uy .^Mcl zdy twx uy .*cl zdy uy .*cl zdy uy .*cl zdy uy .*cl zdy uy .*cl zdy jtwat uy .~cl zdy uy .~cl zdy uy .~cl zdy uy .~cl zdy uy .~cl zdy 3rd time (the fastest) set CN9 to All Keys and run it the first way Then you will really know. No don't try to use combinations of ALL KEYS and spaces in the macros it won't work, and If you have ANSI color turned off ALL KEYS won't work either. |

Adding spaces when it's at all keys won't hurt anything, just won't help anything either. Also, with ANSI color turned off, spaces won't abort display either. |

Heh youre in my permacorp and you couldnt ask me lol.I use it to speed up scripts that are doing things you dont need to see, like colonizing.Does it matter that you cant see the planet specs and terra stuff?Notice how fast it is over the scripts that show it all?I can explain better if needed.Ask the perma corp script writer next time lol. |

the cn9 thing has gotten me into trouble more than once, zmud triggers will not work at all if it is set to all keys and I use swath macro's when Im at sd to bust up or buy furbs and change ships and tow them out, but this only works when cn9 is set to all keys. I have tried to make swath work in the space mode by recording the macro as I do it but it still wont work. I have not tried the twx burst, looks like thats the way to go. |
