It was defined in another thread in these forums somewhere. When a sysop bangs a game, he/she can decide to advertise the game on the jumpgate server. Players can browse the jumpgate server (how exactly, I dunno) and pick a game to join. Players are supposed to be able to get all sorts of descriptions on the game. Should be pretty interesting. |

It will allow you to search the game edits of other servers to find a game you wish to join. Much better than reading rebang posts in forums. |

Think your twgs will automatically upload game info (if you opt into jumpgate for that game) to the jumpgate server. |

Wotok.. What would be kewl about this feature, is if it worked kinda like interstellar travel. you could enter another servers game with with your current ship and figs, and just travel back and forth between games. kinda like makin the unviverse a little bigger., and wether or not the other games had different edits, you could go to one server buy an edited ship, and bring it back to your server of origin... that would be sooooooo awesome! |

And could complete offset the balance of the game. MOST games are setup to be balanced red/blue play ships power appropriately proportioned to planet defenses...for invading purposes. blah..tounge twister |

yea.. all someone has to do is make a game with an uber ship, and take it into a game with stock edits and you'd rule.. would completely ruin ppl attemping to make their game unique |
