I remember a topic that spoke of removing the ore usage of quaser cannons. But i cant find the topic even though i did a search.

Anyways. Another way to handle the issue of mothing is smarter quaser cannons. The cannons would fire just a little more then enough to destroy the enemy. So if a single fighter appeared it would use a single ore to shoot it out of the sky.

But on the other side as a way to limit things cannons would have a maximum limit on the ores/firepower per shot.

The problem with all of the idea's I've seen you post on here are they limit the amount of impact that I have on the game.
I dont want my quasar cannons to fire exactly the amount that enters the sector, I want to choose it.

I read this and remember someone asking about fuel used by planets using interdictor verses ship interdictor ...
Is that close ?

0h yah that was it.

Silence: alright then. A choice between enough to destroy and more specific settings if your in the mood to waste ore and make yourself vulnerable to mothing.
