Hey! Here's a thought I had the other day: Would it be feasible to 'starve' the universe by simply blowing the crap out of every port you see? You could leave SD in tact (since I still hear varying reports on if it's possible to destroy it or not), but destroy all the trading ports out there. As for yourself, if you set up your own multi-sector planet-farming operation, you'd still have some money coming in. But, it would be very hard for people who logged out yesterday with 7,500 credits on them, none in the bank, and then log back in ready to do some trading and.. whoops! There's no more ports.

I realize it would take several days and loads of fighters, but do you think it'd be a fairly effective method of eliminating your competition, or at least making them weaker by a wide margin?
