I think it would be interesting to see a ship upgrade added to what is available in the Hardware Emporium. More specifically I would like to see a Corbomite Scanner. It would scan enemy ships to detect radiation.

I think that it could be limited to ships if desired, similar to the TWARP drive or PTorps. Maybe only the ISS and the CFS could carry this...

And maybe it could have a sysop configurable failure rate...
