If your in a iss with full shields and you blow a planet what are the chances you would be destroyed? I am thinking it's some "special private" edit? Is that possible? |

If you are the one destroying the planet, you will automatically be taken back to the sector safely, though you might hit some navhaz. If you are on the planet and someone else blows it, you go bye-bye. I think thats what you're asking... |

The other way it happens is if you have tons of colos on it and try to blow the planet, the colos will blow it while your still on the planet and poof, you go with it. |

nod, colos on the planet can cause you to die. The more on the planet, the more likely you are to die. Not sure on the exact odds, I've survived up to 5-6k |

I always destroyed planets in a funny way. I just got a ton of Genesis torpedos and created extra planets and let it hit critical mass, usually one of the enemy planets goes critical. If not, it at least creates a NavHaz that will damage their ship when they leave the planet. Let them blow up the extra planets and lose alignment, it still creates a NavHaz and has the same effect. |

I got blown up with full shields when the colo level was in 4k range. I have always wondered if the class of planet affects this; any ideas? |

I imagine it's possible for "one" colonist to blow the planet, but what are the odds?... |

It can still happen, I had it happen in a ship with 16k shields and 400k fighters and only 2k colos on the planet. Best thing to do is either jettison them into space or kill them on the planet or transfer them to your own planets. |

Yeah I do this often. I made a jettison script that can drain a few thousand collies in about a minute. Most low level planets you have to blow usually don't have that many collies anyways. |

I don't think the amount of figs and shields on your ship will make a difference in the odds of colos blowing you up. |

I'm under the impression "nothing" could suvive an atomic detonater, and as few as "1" colonist can detonate it,( after all,..aren't they ALL trained to do this?) Of course, that's just my impression... |
