You guys are gonna hate me for this....(these kind of posts go against my forum etiquette, but sometimes I can't find what I want via searching/drudging) But is there a definitive ring or house for information on the larger, active TW games going on out there? Specifically when games have been re-banged, MBBS/Gold, and activity? Or do we all just have to plunder around to find games? It's funny that so many TW games are still running out there. I mean, I can only imagine...I just got on chungkuo.org's inter-boards games, and there's like, a couple people playing in universes that have long been developed. There's gotta be millions of games like that... I want to beat around there for a little while and get my brain back to 1995, but when it's there, wanted to know what's the best way to find newly re-banged games that have some people playing. Sorry, this must be posted EVERY DAY on here, and I'll be doing some searching and whatnot in the meantime, I promise Phil edit: Game Rebangs forum is my friend. effing christ, there's a lot to choose from. |

Many game ops post game rebangs right here on these forums for one. Why do you want to catch your brain only up to 1995? The rest of us are in the new millenium. =) |

OUCH! Losing Micro's page really hurts.. there are some other lists around, but none were like his. One of the places for active servers is the Tradewars League Site - http://www.twleague.com. Look for their servers list. The Yahoo forums are also a pretty good place to check. Most rebangs are also announced here. Yes, it is often word of mouth/hit or miss. |

You can also try the Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tw2002/ You'll need to register with Yahoo (free) and get approved by the moderators (usually a day or two) to get in. |

As far as mailing lists go, the one at http://www.twgs.org is by far the most active one. |

It seems the places that have newbie/scaled-down games don't monitor dupes at all, which is a bit unfortunate. I'm looking around for a ~3-5k turns game close to stock, not too hard, with non-expert players, thats not a dupe-fest and will be active for 2-3 mos or so. Might have to check a few out on here though. Kinda waiting for a game to reset at where I've been playing....sysop just hasn't got around to it. There's only about 5 or 6 of us not-horribly-good guys playing, so it's nice 'n civil and lax. |

well, the server I play on is really laid-back and runs for a few months at a time. But we're already about 2 months into it. About the dupes though...we do not monitor dupes...but! Nobody dupes, even though they don't watch them. We're really fair in there, lol. One time I killed someone, but felt sorry for them, so gave him a few mil 24.214.131.244:2002 I would love to see you there. We already have level 6 cits and ****, but you can find a corp to join pretty quickly |
