Now that I understand how damage works, I could use a bit of a clarification on how the QCannon doles out the damage. When someone warps into a sector with a planet that has a Qcannon set to do Sector attacks, the qcannon tosses out an amount of damage based on the sector percentage and how much fuel it has. Let say that in one shot on our hypothetical planet, it tosses 20,000 damage out. Does this damage go directly to the offending ship, or does it get modified by the attack/defense setting of ship? Example: An enemy ISS warps into a well defended sector. A QCannon fires off and tosses out 20,000 damage. On an ISS, does this knock off 20,000 shields, or only 15,000 due to the ISS having a defensive rating of 1.5? --smthng "All your planet are belong to us!" |
