Howdy!

I was wondering: Does the rate at which colonists grow on your planet change over time? Is it variable at all? It certainly seems to be, as my planets sometimes need their populations cleaned off once a day, and sometimes just once a week.

Also, what is the 'right' number of colonists to have per production area on a class M planet? I usually set it to 14750, but some of my corpies think it should be 14000, so we don't have to clean them out so frequently. This is an optimization problem, as you have to figure out at what point the area under the curve of total production so far is greatest.
