Right now, I'm in the process of writing my second article for the manual, ominously titled "Invasion Math". Unfortunately, there's some things I need to know that only the gurus who actually write TWGS can answer.
First up: What are the real, offical, actual odds fighters in defensive on a planet? in offensive mode from a planet? Shields on a planet? I've heard several different numbers for each of these, and I want the article to be right.
Second: Is there, in your opinion, any way to make a planet non-conquerable? If so, how? I know there used to be an old bug, the 'shield bug', which made it impossible to conquer a planet with more than x shields, but is there any means of making the unconquerable planet now? (Assume unlimited resources, unedited ships, unedited planets)
And, as a follow up from an earlier article:
What is the maximum number of fighters that may be left on a ship when you capture it? I've captured ships before with as many as 60 fighters on them. I need to update my earlier article on ship-to-ship combat with something more 'official' than my personal experience.
Thanky!
