When you go into a sector that has a planet which fires a quasar cannon, how is the damage distributed among your fighters and shields? Say you're in a corp ship, maxed out with 1500 shields and 20k figs. If a quasar cannon shoots off 1800 damage, will it kill you? Does it destroy all your shields first then fighters, or fighters then shields, or only fighters, or only shields, or what? Do you explode and go to an escape pod only when all of your shields and all of your figs have been destroyed?
