My corporation in a game I am playing has 2 players in it. Most of the other corps only have 1 player in them. Our corporation has less experience points and alignment points, even though both of us have as many or more personal experience points and alignment points as anyone else in the game, yet their corps have more alignment and experience. Can anyone tell me why this is, and how we would get more experience and alignment for our corp - I think it is part of the scoring method the game op uses to decide who wins in those games. If I understanbd the question,It's because they take the average of the alignment and exp for corps with more than one member. So the only way to get more corp align and exp is to get more personal align and exp. |

I never really understood what the point was of ranking the average experience/alignment.... |

Unless specified by the gameop, experience and alignment are not a scoring tool. They are only there to set some rules and limitations to the game. Such as, only blue players, thats over 1k align, can fly the ISS. And it takes about 6k+ experience in an average game (not tweaked by the gameop) to make money as a red player. And for one more, if you wanna have both red and blue in your corp, EVERYONE, experiences XP loss at exturn, a big drawback for reds in that situation...but at the same time, a great advantage to blues. |
