Thanks Folks First of all , corbo's are for a last ditch effort to kill your foe when he attacks and blows your ship up. At one time in trade wars it was also used on a scout ship to make traps for invaders. A thing of the pass now that ships with no pod still can be captured if left un-manned Anyways , corbo's are used as a defencive measure. You dont need them to make a pod. If you want to make a pod , buy a cheap ship (that has a pod) and go to a toll and surender that ship (make sure you have no shields or fighters on that ship). Yup , its that easy. And you do loose exp/alinment , in any game be it gold or mbbs. Vid's World on Guam telnet://vidsworld.no-ip.org:2002 |

Thank you Kemper3 , I didnt know the values but did know you loose exp for surendering, as well as dieing from being killed in your ship. But is it nessasary to carbo yourself ? Or is this just a way to keep others from gaining/loosing alinment ? That would be the only reason I can see for killing yourself on a carbo bomb. Vid Kid |

Vid Kid Being killed by your own corbo ship loses you significantly more experience than dying by any other method. If you are podding yourself for the purpose of experience loss, that is the best way to go. If it's for the pod, I prefer to buy a ship, export to it, put a fig on it, and attack SD. Saves the turns charge for moving a sector. |

Kemper, Don't you always get moved one sector way from dock doing this trick? [Even if you have advoids set] Basically "pod cashing" works great on the edited games with those pods that have twarp/photon/shield upgrades.
