You dominate a game and quit playing for a month but the sysop doesnt bang it and then here comes PHX and plays unmolested for a week or two and takes out your home sector and thinks he did something. Then he goes around telling everyone he can that he beat you. It is all rather comical.

Doesn't sound like a very enjoyable server to play on. In general, if I feel I have dominated a game (everyone else is dead or has nothing), I contact the sysop and let them know the game is over. I then continue keeping the game locked down until the game is closed and declared over.
