If you're red at SD with no turns and no cloaks and have 50 minutes before turns regen, what do you have to lose? Personally, I'd probably just make a planet and sit on it until turns. Odds are, even if someone warped in, they wouldn't blow up a junk planet at dock.

Blowing a planet = experience for the blue. So in a solo game, he has to be careful. I'm with CK and Kemper on this one. Pop a planet and wait. Also, if you do get ZDY'd he doesn't get your cash. And probably is no longer fedsafe either. I would pop 1 planet, if you thought he was gonna come after you with zdy, pop 4 all the same name, and macro lift and land between them. If you lift and he isn't there, you know he is landing also, so start trying to time it.

Good ideas everyone. I can't remember if I had any Gtorps on me at that time or not.

So if someone can get your onboard cash by ZDYing you, I assume that they can collect a bounty on you too?

Another quick question on bounties - if you go blue and get commissioned, I notice that the police bounties on your head disappear. If you go red again, do they stay away or magically re-appear?

My apologies, I had just been told yesterday if you get ZDYed your cash goes to zero, and considering I was ZDYing a corpie, and another corpies told me to make sure his cash was removed first, I made an assumption. I apologize to those who got false info from me.

No, zdying won't get someone a bounty. Your bounty is always on you, even if you're not listed in the police station. If someone kills you when you're blue (and doesn't go red doing it), they can go to the police station, claim they killed you, and get the bounty, even though you're current blue.

Jhereg - like ship2ship poddings, there is a 25% chance the cash will be lost, so if you're doing it to a corpie, it's best to make sure you strip their cash first.

I'd say at this point ryu's got bigger problems than whether or not to sit on a planet at dock.

i warp to dock, i see a planet just sitting there with no purpose made by a red... i begin to wonder why he made that planet... i check logs, he wasnt planet busting, i check clv, he isnt cashing... but he is online... poof

basically, you pray, in that situation everything you do is bad, and you can only pray.

I do this often just to grab some fuel. Especially if enemy has dock surrounded.

Some planet busting scripts leave a planet for safety. So it could also be there from a pervious busting session.

Well figs are removed by xturn by feds so if they did not replace them there would not be any figs in your way. Tip: sometimes you get in right after xturn the competition has not replaced figs haul Butt to sd .

Thanks for the tip there twarrior, but this game didn't have death delay on, I was back in less than 1/2 hour after he #sd#'d me.
