OK, I have a planet with a Q-cannon and 50K defensive fighters buzzing about in the sector. I log in for the first time and find that my beatiful planet has been voilated. Stolen, in fact. The culprit did use a photon missle (a couple, in fact) to get around the q-cannon, but the fighters were unmolested; Left buzzing around the empty husk of a sector that was once my home. I thought that a photon would turn offensive fighters into defensive fighters. Does to allow someone to bypass defensive fighters altogether and land on a planet?

Also, does anyone know how many plantary sheilds are neccessary to block a photon's effects?
