There's no real to protect unmanned ships from a Photon is there? I mean, you can't park them on a planet (or can you?) and a Photon disables all sector level defenses so they're pretty much "freebies" aren't they?

Does anyone have any suggestions for defending ships in a sector? On a board I'm playing on the settings allows multiple photons and the duration is fairly long, 5 seconds so you can do a lot.
