I am trying to write a reference manual for TWGS, and I am testing the limitations on game play. The following error message occurred in Game A on an UNREGISTERED server (ver 1.01.58) using the default BigBang settings : TWerror log initialized 03/02/2004 08:58:49 AM 03/02/2004 09:16:45 AM Me (1) Halted: Unknown file error (998) on file ANNOUNCE.DAT. As you can likely guess, I went to Stardock and entered the Tavern. The game session promptly closed, and the above message was generated for player "Me" on Node (1). When I re-entered the game and went back, I entered the Tavern normally. After a few more tries, I did not get this message again. Just FYI. |

Thanks passing this on, I've already reported it to JP. It happens the first time someone tries to enter the tavern. All subsequent entries for any player are fine. |
