I used to have a registered tw2002 game, but lost it, it has been a long time since I played it, I got online one day and decided to buy a new code, but saw in some of the other posts that there is a way to get the old codes from the maker, or something like that! I've sent him emails asking him about it, but haven't heard anything back, if he is able to cancel my order, I would like to get the TWGS Lite and Gold package! is this possible? how do I cantact the maker? |

Look over here: http://www.eisonline.com/contact.html Email John, tell him your situation and the contact info you had when you registered the old code with Martech. He should be able to find it. Good luck. |

I think it takes time to look up an old code. Consider what JP has to do, he is quite busy. There is a new release of TWGS due out, so have patience he has other priorities to consider. |

JP will get back to you. He's always been good about responding (from my experience anyway). |

Jumpgate should be active in the next version. From what I understand it will allow you to find a certain game edit on a different server. Sort of like Yahoo or Google for TWGS games. I could be wrong, so I'll let an EIS employee explain it. |

Jumpgate: It is intended to be an updated database of all TWGS games currently running that wish to announce their games to the public. What this means is that everytime a SysOp / GameOp big bang's a universe they have the option of posting their game to the Jumpgate database. The database will be periodically automatically updated with the games settings as well as server address and most likely comments from the SysOp / GameOP. This will be some combination of the <*> screen, the <H> screen, the <S> screen and game descriptions screen. Coding has begun on this project and when complete will replace the Game Rebangs section of the forums here. We will also will be adding a Server section to the forum for those servers that wish to have a forum located here at EIS to use for their server discussions. The support forums will be the center of an expanding support web in which hopefully at some point even online help from within the game will be available, meaning that you will be able to goto a help prompt type in a help topic and receive answers, much like a FAQ system on a web site. |

Sorry for the confusion, I thought TeamEIS members implied they were employees of EIS. My mistake. If you are not being paid, you must really love TW enough to work for free. JumpGate sounds cool, it will also help GameOps get the word out about their servers. Many TWGS servers exist, but have very few players on them. Most players have to depend on public forum posts for rebangs to find a game to play, like The Republic's games using Vader's LoTR edits for instance. |

Question: Would i need to e-mail jp about my registration codes. I e-mailed him about a week ago and have already sent the $80 over paypal, and still haven't received any response. Is this normal? |

Sometimes it can take a little while Tchiak, if he has something come up in Real Life or something. You might send him a follow-up e-mail about it. |

I like the ideas of game servers' forums being hosted here, too! So, um, has there been any news on future rev's of TW? Do we have a timeline or even a hint of one? I've been looking forward to the JumpGate idea for quite awhile and would love to see it go into action. Is there anything we in the TW community can do to help? |
