.....an NT administrative account!" This I get upon running the downloaded package. However, I *am* logged on the Administrator account under (german) WinXP. I've found a few threads here regarding the same/similar problem, but there's not a single one with a solution. What can I do to resolve this? |

No solution has ever been given. I'd play around with it some if I had a foreign language version of windows to play with - but I don't. I might try creating a new account named "Administrator" and giving it full admin privileges. Please post back here if you find something that works. |

It's definitely not the Account Name, coz exactly that's the one I'm using. Maybe we could find a solution if the author(s) would shed some light on just how they implemented the check on "Admin Acc or not?" |

lol omg.... it's so easy, i'm embarassed. Just forget about admin accounts and all that (well, tbh, I don't know since I'm always logged w/ admin acc). Set Compatibility for the dl'ed .exe to win98/ME, run it, run setup.exe manually, then set compatibility of the created Shortcut to Win98/ME, and it works. |

Interesting work-around Yeah, this is one of those problems I've been meaning to address. I'll see if I can get to it with the next revision (which I promise I'm actually working on). It's a localization issue. TWGS doesn't speak German, and some of the WinAPI returns related to accounts return German text. It never occurred to me that the API would speak German! |

I'll give you a hint of what you need to do. And then you can search these forums, to find the instructions. In order for TWGS to automatically load up, and run. When you power up your system, or when you do a reboot of your system. You need to setup TWGS to run as a Service Once TWGS is setup to run as a Service on 2000/XP/2003. Then it will automatically load and run for you. search the forums, and your find the instructions for this. |

It also tells you how to run it as a service when you install the TWGS software. Correction, not when you install it but when your in the configure tab under server and check the autorun on and off. I have all 4 boxes checked on my server and I have it running as a service. You have to go to the TWGS directory and type TWGSSERV INSTALL for it to work. Sorry for any confusion. |
