Abandoned planets

 If a planet is abandoned and has figs on it will they attack you when you try to land since they do not belong to anyone?

The planet will defend in whatever way the last owner had it set.

so if i create a planet to have a bunch of goodies for a person to claim, and set it as abandon then the figs or whatever defences will go against them.....Correct

As long as you have it set to defence/offence yes.

If the planet has less than a L2 cit, you can claim the planet freely with no attack.

Oh ya I forgot you can't land on the planet with anything over lv1 citidel.

OK thanks in one of the games that i am making i am making a level 4 planet that has a huge jackpot in it for the first person to find and be able to claim the money will prly replace most of what they use for trying to invade the planet so the real reward is a volcanic planet with a level 4 cit and a whole lot of colos.....I just did not want to set it all up and then someone walk up to it and claim it without a fight....lol

Sounds like a good idea, Strider but remember, if you have ptorps turned on, the finding player may have a fairly easy time of taking the planet. You might want to think about making it lev 5 and fully shield it. Make the finder work at taking it.

good call i have it set to 3 seconds but that is fairly long....then again i might turn them off completly in this game i don't know i still have to make that deccision but thatnks for the advice i never thought about that.
