I see other people are wondering about the keys they've ordered too. I put in the paypal order a couple days ago and emailed John yesterday, but no reply at all as of yet.
Just wondering how long it's gonna take, I'm waiting to rebang my Elite game until I get the gold upgrade and my users are getting kind of itchy I feel fortunate to have 15 to 20 everyday players and I'd hate for them to go elsewhere. It was one of my users that paid for the gold upgrade too!

All I can tell you is you'll just have to be patient. John is the only one that deals with that and he's normally pretty prompt at getting them out. He may have something else going on that's delayed him, but I'm sure he'll get them out to you as soon as he can.

While Im not trying to be rude or anything, I think its very unprofessional how people seem to have to wait so long for reg codes without so much as a word. If the owner isnt around to process the orders (but seems fine taking paypal payments for them) maybe he should leave someone else in charge of registrations. I know I personally was considering registering TW/TWGS/Gold, but am a little leary on spending money on a product I may or may not receive in a timely fashion. Thats $80 of mine TWGS could have received if they were a little more on the ball.
In no way am I saying that I think its a scam, or something like that. But the fact remains that most everything on the website is under construction, and codes take forever to get to their new owners. If John doesnt have the desire/time to run this company right, why doesnt he make the time, or sell it to someone who does.

I did get my key in what I would call a timely manner. I had thought that I would've gotten any kind of "official" email pretty quick. When I hadn't gotten an email in a couple days, I began to wonder.
Thanks John...

The vast majority of people registering recieve their codes within 2-3 days at the max. You have to realize that registrations for this game is not enough to make a living off of, and as such, other things sometimes have priority. If you don't want to purchase twgs, that is your choice. However, I personally don't consider waiting several days for a reg code all that unreasonable. Some things you buy require you to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery of goods

6-8 weeks is normal if that's the time specified. Typically if a customer pays for a product that isn't shipped within 30 days, the customer has the right to refuse delivery, demand their money back and can go straight to the BBB and file a complaint.
That being said, its only been about 36 hours I have been waiting for my codes Was hoping to get my TWGS up before my rival got his up, but I guess he got his registration code before me =( Oh well I guess I am in no hurry now since I am playing on his bbs. =/

For a registration process that is completed via e-mail, it really shouldn't take more than a day or two. However, Harley suggested that TWGS wasn't his primary source of income. I would think there'd be about a week or so turnaround for registrations.. Check mail once a week for new registration requests, and do them all at one time.. or something like that..heh
I can understand there's gonna be a wait, but there's a point to where the process reaches "untimely".

"Some things take 6-8 weeks" is a cop-out for someone not doing their job. 6-8 weeks is what you expect to wait when you send in 10 wrappers of bubba-yum with $1.50 for a whoopee cushion.
Yes, I've sent the e-mail like I was instructed to do when I purchased the software via PayPal. My PayPal account IS my e-mail address, so they should have my info as well.

Hmm.. Seems to me that threads like these would scare away potential buyers (like myself). Doesnt seem so hard to check email and mail out a reg code.

Quite frankly, I don't have anything to do with reg codes and can't give you any sort of reason why it's taking so long. All I can say is that this is abnormally long, but he has never ripped anyone off. I know at one other time John was having computer problems and it delayed him sending out codes for nearly two weeks. I have sent him an email about it, but I imagine he doesn't currently have access to it and that's what is causing the delay. At this point, all I can do is offer apologies and assure you that you WILL get your codes.
