I have heard about black-holes. Warp in but you dont warp out. Using ATTAC's auto mapper going from 1-10000 I noticed a few sectors not available on a 255 max route plotter. Since I knew the universe had been created using a 100 max course option and then changed so max course could be 255(just incase you had so many avoids and still wanted to get where you were going or find a round about back door) these sectors were misssing. I then logged onto my game as an observer and jumped to one of my missing sectors. Computer tried to tell me there was no course within 255 sectors then asked me if I wanted to clear void(which I had none) I said yes and jumped to the sector anyway. Seems that there was a "white" bubble detached from the rest of the universe. I could plot a course out with no trouble but there was no way into the bubble. I ended up finding a sector with less than 6 warps and attatching it there. There are some interesting uses for this "white bubble" say you have an alien race that you want to be a contstant irritation to the universe you could put their home world, and their spawning ground, within the white bubble therefor they will always come forth from their space and cannot be attacked in their space. This white bubble baffled me till I was able to plot a course from within the bubble out to sector 1. now I know how to find a white bubble and all its exits. Should BigBang have found this area since it was technicly not attached to the rest of the universe except by going out? Thanks, Rhy. |

It's a bug in the current version related (I think) to the min and max tunnel length settings. When you bang a game, it's best to bang it with both those settings at 0. There is also a port bug related to this. |

This is a bug that occures when you enable bubbles option K at Bang what happens is the game creates the bubbles 100-xxx sectors big, then connects to the outside world - but the buggy part is, if the outside sector has 5 or more warps out, it doesn't connect BACK into the bubble and therefore allows for this inaccessable bubble. Currently the only fix is to manually find a sector to connect into the bubble. This bug should be fixed in next release |
