Hey guys,
I was woundering if anyone else has encountered this. I set up my TWGS using a dynamic ip address rerouter (TZO) for some reason I can Telent in from my computer and the other 2 computers on the home network using telnet idbbs.tzo.com. , but can not acces this from outside the network. I use a DSL modem, and I used to have this set up a while ago and it worked.

any thoughts or suggestions would be apriciated

BTW running XP right now and was running 2000 previously.

If you are running some sort of router/firewall, you will need to set up port forwarding on it so incoming connections are routed to the correct machine on the correct port. Without knowing your setup, I can't really help more than that, but I would guess that's your problem.

Dude another way that you can handle that is to open up DMZ.. This is done in the router. I know that a lot of people out there will suggest that this opens you up for security problems but it isn't nessesarily true.. I worke for Linksys for 6 LONG LONG LONG years. That is a big misconception. But if you would like some help I would be more than happy to help you out.. Just let me know.

I run a linksys 4-port router (which I love)..I just use port-forwarding and it works beautifully. I also turned off the internal DHCP server and set my 4 computers up static.
